Where extinguishers are provided but are not intended for employee use and the employer has an emergency action plan and a fire prevention plan that meet the requirements of 29 CFR 1910.38 and 29 CFR 1910.39 respectively, then only the requirements of paragraphs (e) and (f) of this section apply. Report conflicts in guidance between this standard,federal standards, or other Air Force directives through MAJCOM,DRU, or FOA ground safety offices to Headquarters Air Force SafetyCenter, Ground Safety Division, Safety Engineering and StandardsBranch (HQ AFSC/SEGS), 9700 Avenue G, SE, Suite 222, Kirtland AFBNM.This standard applies to all US Air Force organizations,including all US Air Force Reserve personnel and when Air NationalGuard personnel are on federal service. It includes general safetyinformation applicable to aircraft ground handling, servicing, andinspections.
